Recreation
The purpose of our Recreation Ministry is to reach out and develop people of all ages, spiritually, physically, mentally, and emotionally and to assist other programs of Temple Baptist Church.
Our Family Life Center contains a basketball court, a game room and a walking track. We also have a softball field located on our church property where we host our very own Softball league...for more information look below!
Our Recreation Ministry strives to provide a Christian environment for leisure-time activities for our families. Through various sports, fitness and fellowship opportunities, we hope to develop and build Christian fellowship.

Non Approved Bats List
If a bat is on this list, Temple Softball umpires should NOT allow the bat in ALL LEAGUE GAMES AND ASA TOURNAMENT GAMES. It is important that every Temple League Softball team have their bats checked before each and every game!
Remember the penalty -- By rule, if a player steps into the batter's box with a banned bat, it is treated as an altered bat situation. The player is called out, the bat removed, and the player is DISQUALIFIED from playing the rest of the game. Bat checks are to prevent the above from happening. Please understand to prevent the above situation from occurring and to prevent you from losing a player for the rest of the game, check your bats before every game! To help identify these bats, you may want to print out the Non-Approved Bat List with PHOTOS.
Please review the ASA Rule Changes and Comments to make yourself aware of new rules for this year.
